What should we pay attention to before installing the QCC valve?

1.The working ambient temperature of the QCC valve should (-30 ~ +60) relative humidity not more than 95% 95%, relative humidity not more than 95% ;

2.There should be a straight pipe section on the front and back of the QCC valve, and the length should not be less than 10x the pipe diameter (10D), to avoid the straight pipe section of the valve being too short and affecting the function;

3. Read the user manual before installing the QCC valve. The user manual introduces the product and the safety precautions and precautions that should be followed before and during installation;

4.Make sure the pipeline is clean: foreign bodies in the pipeline can damage the sealing surface of the valve or even hinder the movement of the valve core, ball or plate, causing the valve to not close properly. To reduce the possibility of a dangerous situation, clean all the pipes, before installing the valve.

Make sure pipe dirt, metal chips, welding slag and other foreign objects have been removed. Also check the pipe flange to ensure there is a smooth sealing surface. If the valve has threaded ends, apply a high-quality pipe sealant to the outer thread of the pipe. Do not apply sealant to the internal thread, as excess sealant on the internal thread will be pushed into the valve body. Excess sealant can cause blockages or dirt accumulation, which can cause the valve to not close properly.

How to choose the QCC valve?

(1) Coil-shaped structure

Mainly according to the selected flow characteristics and unbalance forces and other factors.

(2) Wear resistance

If the liquid medium is a suspension containing a high concentration of abrasive particles, the inner material of the valve should be hard.

(3) Corrosion resistance

Since the medium is corrosive, try to choose a valve with simple construction.

(4) Temperature and pressure of the medium

When the temperature and pressure of the medium are high and the change is large, valve core and valve seat material should be selected with small temperature and pressure changes. If the temperature is ≥ 250 ℃, a radiator should be added.

(5) Prevent flash evaporation and cavitation

Relaxation evaporation and cavitation occur only in liquid media. In the actual production process, relaxation evaporation and cavitation form vibrations and noise, shorten the service life of the valve, therefore, when selecting the valve, the valve should be protected from lightning and cavitation.

What role does the QCC valve play?

The QCC valve acts as a variable resistance in the pipe. It alters the turbulence of the process fluid or ensures a pressure drop in the case of a laminar flow, This pressure reduction process is often referred to as "throttling". For gases, the QCC valve is close to the isothermal adiabatic state, the deviation depends on the degree of non-ideality of the gas (Joule Thomson effect). It can convert the pressure into thermal energy, resulting in a slight increase in temperature.
